Stocking your prop collection without breaking the bank!
Today I’m over on Craftsy talking all about basic food photography props, where to find them, and how to build up your collection on the cheap. I rarely spend more than a few dollars on one single prop, and I always scope out the new magazines for Crate + Barrel, West Elm, C+B, etc. and then wait until the end of the season when all of the dishware and bowls are a few bucks off. Thrifting + antiquing has also become a regular activity to find fun and unique pieces, like those awesome beat up baking sheets that create a dark + moody feel.
