wanna come hang out?
/If you would have come over to hang out this weekend, here’s what we would have done.
Friday night, we would have walked downtown for Mexican food. You probably would have worn jeans too, because it felt like fall!
You would have met Kelsey! Maybe you would have joined her for a margarita?
You also would have met this guy! <3
And you would have ordered food, that probably looked similar to this.
Hellooooo way-over-salted beans + veggie filled enchilada that had a very strange sweet-almost Asian flavored sauce.
Saturday, I would have drug you out of bed for breakfast. Which would you have chosen? Then we would have walked about 1 mile to the market and gotten stopped by a 1 mile, 50min bike race! It was extremely exciting + nerve-racking to watch. They sped around the corners SO FAST!!!
If you were here, you would have been in this photo. It was bright!
We would have walked around the market for an hour, mulling over things to buy.
Perhaps you would have wanted to split a bag of bruised better-than-Georgia-peaches for 50% off?
Juice.Dripping.Everywhere.
Colorado peach excitement!
peaches.
pickling cukes + maters.
AH-maaaazing local cheese. Love MouCo and I had a $1 off coupon. I would have shared. I think.
$1 organic peppers? Oh yes.
Organic romaine, double the size of my head for $2.50? Oh yes.
Salad the size of my head, slathered in mmm-sauce? Ohhhhh yes.
Then, we would have gone on a bike ride, where I finally used my clipless pedals!!!! Woohoo!
We would have ridden 20 miles, for our first outdoor ride of the season. I’ve really missed cycling!!
You would have seen me fall over too! I was doing really well with the pedals, and only fell once, to avoid hitting a woman walking. My options were: plow into her or fall over.
So I fell + I was okay. The woman felt horrible, but I was glad I didn’t run her over.
Then, I would have convinced you to go tubing down the Poudre River. Are you tired yet?
Chris decided to take the kayak out, while we tubed.
By we I mean, Eric + Kelsey of course!
Silly kayak outfit.
It started out a gorgeous, warm day, but was quickly covered by clouds. The water is quite cold, because it’s run-off from mountain snow.
I may look happy here…
But really, I was a grumpy + freeeeezing cold!! Somehow my tube, was 3x slower than everyone else’s. No fun!
After tubing, I would have fed you tortilla pizzas, and then we would have biked downtown to Equinox for a brew + game of Sorry.
If you were here, I’m sure I still would have lost. Both times!
Hope you enjoyed your visit!
