Off to Laura’s bright + early this morning! I told her I was going to make breakfast. She didn’t put up a fight. I was really mad that I forgot spinach and couldn’t give her a true Green Monster, but at least I brought the wheatgrass!

The background I’m shooting on is a sweet chair that Laura + Travis found at a Thrift store. One of these days it’s going to disappear….muahahaha
It was the most gorgeous day today. The nicest day yet this spring! We walked around Pearl St in Boulder. It was really hard to not buy anything…especially cute kitchen things!!!!
And necklaces…headbands..wallets…sunglasses…ahhhh
And cute vases you can hang from antique ceiling fixtures!! I mean I don’t know what I’d do with it…but I want one anyway ![]()
I realllllly want need this shirt…for 2 reasons
- the first reason should be obvious
- it’s organic cotton
Modeling session.
Fun morning with my Laura!!
Kom-boo-chaaaaaa!! This flavor was just okay. I wouldn’t buy it again. I like Superfruits much more!
Chris + I went on a hard 17 mile bike ride today. The weather was perfect but for the first 8.5 miles we were straight into the wind with lots of small uphill action that whole time. My quads were screaming!!! Good ride though in just over an hour.
Then I headed to a yoga class at Om Time with my friend Lauren! This class rocked. I haven’t been to formal yoga classes since living in Charlotte so this kicked my arse. Yowza.
It was a 1.5hr vinyasa class, which was the style I practiced in Charlotte but it was very different! I had never done about 80% of what we did in class today. It wasn’t hot yoga, like in Charlotte but it still felt plenty hot with all of the bodies in the room. The temp started at 72* and our bodies + breathing brought the temp up to 84* by the end!! I was sweating like crazy!
Chris got me this yoga bag for Christmas, and I haven’t been able to use it yet. I was pretty excited. It is the ideal yoga bag! It opens extremely easily, so it’s super simple to get the mat in + out. There are straps that secure it in the bag as well. There is a holder for a water bottle too, which is perfect.
The front pouch was big enough to hold my phone, camera, wallet and car keys. LOVE this bag!
The bed is calling my name!! Not a ton planned for tomorrow but I do know I’ll be hitting up 2 local farmer’s markets. Can’t wait to restock my eggs. I just ran out today!
Night all!

Awh you guys are both so gorgeous! Looks like you had fun

I’ve just added avocado to my shopping list after reading this post – I don’t like it by itself, but in a smoothie…very good

Oooo…I love that veggie shirt! So cute…I want it! Lol.
Have fun at the farmer’s market…I can’t wait to see all the beautiful produce you bring back. Local produce is just infinitely better than grocery store stuff.

My Vita (aka “Peabo,” in honor of Peabo Bryson and the beautiful love melody, “Tonight I Celebrate My Love For You”) and I have a secret rendezvous each night in my garage. You see, I want a smoothie before bed, but I do not wish to have to change the bedsheets from startling my children awake with the sounds of our lovemaking.
And now I’ve crossed the line.
Have a great weekend!

Is that not the cutest store in the world? Wow, adorable stuff. That avocado smoothie is making me crave pudding. And avocado does make the best pudding!

Ha, mama pea’s comment about heading out the garage when she wants a late night smoothie…hilarious…
Those smoothies (and chair backdrop) look so good! I have yet to add avocado to mine and that really should change soon! My favorite backdrop at home is actually a light blue chair. Looks like you two had fun and I am jealous of all your CO adventures. I have never been to Denver and one of my best friends lives there so that needs to change. I agree with the other commenter that you should tell us that shirt brand so maybe we can hunt it down for some veggie t lovin’. Yoga….mmm, sounds great!

Those smoothies look delicious, and I love those photos. Once, a few years ago, my friends and I had our own smoothie-making competition, and they had to include a secret ingredient. All of them used avocado! (And they tasted delicious. Yum.

I just got back from the farmer’s market! The goat cheese vendor was having a 2 for 1 soft goat cheese sale today, fyi. We walked there and back–gotta love our rocking CO summer weather!
I have heard really good things about Om Time yoga. I am considering taking yoga classes again…I just don’t do it often enough on my own.

Yay for Pearl St.
I looove avocado in smoothies, but I eat like one a day as it is, so I don’t usually add them in!

Tell me, where did you find such a large bag of organic cherries? I can only find small ones that are really expensive!
[Reply]
Ugh, I could do some serious damage in that store!
